ALERT ! AV500 – PROBE SWAP – CHANGE IN SCHEDULE
The original schedule of Probe swap in this instrument has been advanced to today/tomorrow. Part of the motivation for this is the (good) news that the REVIVED DRX499 is almost ready for full scale deployment within a few days.
We are placing a new probehead called
TBI-1H,13C {X} – Z gradient
in AV500.
- This probe is a unique Triple Resonance probe. It has :
- One dedicated channel for 1H – (Tune/Match using two separate knobs)
- One dedicated channel for 13C – (Tune/Match using two separate knobs)
- One Broadband channel – the nucleus is selectable via numbers from a directory – similar to the BBI or BBO probe you are familiar with.
- This is a newer generation probe
- Excellent B1 homogeneity
- Excellent 1H sensitivity
- You don’t have to do any cable swap to observe any of the nuclei.
- 1H, 13C and X-BB are hardwired. You have to just select the suitable parameter set and observe.
I will post another update by tomorrow afternoon, highlighting more details about this probehead.
Stay tuned.
