UPDATE : NEW WORKSTATION FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

Dear Users

As you enter the NMR lab (Bagley, 37), you can now notice a computer next to the printer. This is a new workstation running Windows 10 for your offline convenience.

This is a Kiosk machine, which does not require any login and the desktop is available always. (If you feel bored enough to try Ctrl-Alt-Del, it will boot up and comeback to the same page !) . The web browser opens pre-populated with the following tabs :

Quickly accessible PDF version of Lab Safety Manual from EH&S
The LSM web page of EH&S

I hope you find the workstation useful with the following :

Access the NMR Reservation page for instruments
Download data via the FileZilla FTP server that is preinstalled
Process the downloaded data with Topspin that is preinstalled
Process the data using MNova that is preinstalled

Important Points to Note :

Please treat the storage space in this machine as STRICTLY TEMPORARY ! A script will periodically clean up Data that you download, from the machine.
DO NOT download/store any personalized data/information from the web. All the usual restrictions, expectations and policies in using University of Washington Computer resources APPLY HERE AS WELL. Please consult the following link to keep yourself updated of the same.
Do not attempt to download/install any software without prior approval (just to save you time, even if you attempt that, you will be blocked by requiring Administrative privilege)
