Dear Users :

AV500 :   We have swapped in the triple resonance TBI-1H {13C,X} probehead.  Please take a moment to look at the Summary sheet that is displayed on the console box behind the computer.   Please get in touch with one of the facility staff if you have any questions.

• This probe can perform Topshim
• It has a dedicated 13C channel.  Tuning and Matching has separate Tune and Match capacitor paddles, similar to 1H channel
• You can also observe any other NMR nuclei via a third channel denoted as ‘X’ channel. If you need a refresher about how to tune/match this channel, please contact one of us.

GG500 : The probe in the magnet now is TXO-13C {19F,1H}.   We are still finishing up some configuration adjustments, in anticipation of the instrument upgrade that I announced last week.  Instrument should be ready for regular use by 1 PM, today.

• This was the same probe that used to be in AV500 till yesterday
• This probe has the best sensitivity for 13C.
• The probe can observe 19F, besides 1H
• All three channels i.e. 1H, 13C, 19F have their own dedicated tune/match paddles.
