  • Tim Brewster says:

Cannot load a new experiment. It says the file path is “read-only”

  • Kelli says:

The sample will not load. The missing light is on.

  • Kelli Takaki says:

Topspin would not open after log in and I could not log out.

  • Adrienne Roehrich says:

Most of the issues starting January 10 stemmed from a broken NMR sample tube in the probe. Broken tubes in the probe are almost always the result of dropping the sample in without a spinner OR dropping the sample with spinner in without the lift air on. Please be careful when inserting your sample and the decoy sample into the magnet.

The broken tube has been removed and the spinning, locking, wobbing, and insert/eject should work as normal. The frozen screen issue has also been resolved as a separate issue. Normal activity for the 300 can resume as usual at this time.

  • Magnus Johnson says:

When ejecting my sample this morning it flew out and I didn’t manage to grab it in the air. My tube broke leaving glass inside the spinner. The whole thing happened outside of the spectrometer so there should be no glass inside the probe. I have left a note saying “DO NOT USE” on the keyboard.

The window was still ‘locked’ but since the screensaver was on I didn’t realize that until after I had already inserted my sample.

  • Melrose T. Mailig says:

I can not take nmr in this instrument. I can not even exit the program.

  • Christopher Shaffer says:

Same problem as Bin Zhao. I could not get the instrument to recognize that a sample had been inserted so it kept reporting that the sample was missing. This prevented me from exiting the standby mode so I could not do any tuning/shimming manually. Auto-lock could be set but when the sample was ejected with ‘lock’ on, it appears to have had no genuine effect on the signal.

  • Bin Zhao says:

The sample can not be loaded. It shows missing.

  • Brad McKeown says:

Wobb curve did not respond to adjustments of the tune/match parameters. The settings seemed to be way off.

  • Rajan Paranji says:

You should be able to get the lock display now. Please post another comment if you see it otherwise.
