Network issue and its related consequences are resolved.  I will remind the users at this time : “Please help us help you by not rebooting the computer anytime you see an issue. Just post it in the log and let us handle it”. Thank you for the cooperation.

A possible hardware related issue has the made the network unreachable for the AV500 host computer and being looked into.  Updates will be posted when we make progress…

The networking issue that caused the slow down of NMR login has been rectified.  Users are requested to report any abnormal behaviour that they may notice.

The slow response of the host computer over the past couple of days is being investigated.  An update will be provided once the cause is identified and remedied.    

It will be at least Monday before the UWNetid related network login problem is sorted out.  In the meanwhile, users can use the instrument with the local ‘genuser’ login id.  The login credentials are posted prominently next to the AV500 computer keyboard.  After the data collection, you can download your data from the directory ‘genuser/nmr’ […]

The login system is down and currently being investigated.  Owing to this the instrument is not usable at this point.  Please look for an update here about the progress made.

I will keep a close watch. Please report any abnormalities and thank you for your prompt feedback.

The data server will be down for 30 minutes to rectify the problems causing the sporadic outages.  An update will be posted once Phoenix is online.
