With the help of our ever dependable electronics shop,  the TXD probe is fixed in house  and we have AV301 system back on track with the same probehead.   Users can engage the instrument as before.

The TXD – 13C {1H,19F} probe has been shimmed up and ready for regular use. The purported hardware issue in the amplifier reported earlier is also resolved now.  I thank all the users for their patience and cooperation while the instrument was out of service for priming up the probe. Please let us know if you see anything that is out of the ordinary.  Also Note : THIS PROBE DOES NOT HAVE AUTOMATIC TUNING AND MATCHING. You have to tune/match by running the wobb command as with other instruments.

J-Young tubes tend to shift the center of mass once you place it in the spinner, compared to regular tubes.
