AV500 UPDATE : TOPSHIM AUTOMATIC GRADIENT SHIMMING READY FOR USE !

UPDATE ! AV500 – AVAILABLE WITH TXO PROBE

The av500 is now available with the TXO probe. This probe has 1H, 19F, and 13C capabilities with proton decoupling. It is a 5 mm probe, the same TXO you have used on the av500 in the past. ALERT ! – AV301 : SAMPLE STUCK INSIDE THE MAGNET BORE

Until the user’s sample stuck inside the room tempearture bore of the magnet is removed, the instrument cannot be used.  Please wait for an update after the clean up to complete, before attempting to use the machine again.

AV301 : UPDATE ! – SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL AND NORMAL

All the normal functionalities including atma are restored to their original state.  Users are requested to use the atma command for automatic tuning and matching of the probe.  The optional atmm command is also available, if you so prefer.

We are aware the instrument reservation online system is down. It is currently being worked on. Until the reservation system is up, you can reserve your NMR time by using the sign-up sheet next to the NMR instrument you want to use.

AV301 is now available

The AV301 now has the dual channel probe with 1H and 13C and a 2D lock. Please use shim file stdhcd. The proton and carbon macros are not currently set up to reflect the new probe. You will need to tune and match this probe for your experiments.
