Please let us know if you notice anything unusual.  The system will be monitored closely.

The NMR console firmware is corrupted.  The instrument will be unusable until this is fixed. It is estimated that the system will be down until tomorrow morning i.e. Friday ,12 Oct 2012.Updates will be posted once progress is made.

Data download can proceed now.  Please let me know if you are facing any difficulty.

Host computer is revived.  Users can book time as usual. Please keep us posted if you noticed anything out of the ordinary.

The hard disk of host computer has gone in to automatic de-fragmenting mode and the process will take at least until 3.00 pm to complete.  I will post an update once the system is ready and functioning. Existing bookings until 3.00 pm will be cancelled due to this.

Home directory has been expanded in size.  Automatic clean up of web browser files in place to pre-empt filling up of disk space in the future.

Same file system over flow is encountered today. The system is extremely slow due to this. Additional disk space will be installed to solve the issue.
