AV500 UPDATE : LOCK ISSUE FIXED
A possible power fluctuation over the weekend led to the disrupted lock and acquisition conditions of the instrument. These are now resolved and users can continue with normal operation of the instrument.

ALERT : PRINTER IS FUNCTIONAL AGAIN
Users can either print directly from Topspin or use the ‘plot’ program to direct print requests to the Laserjet printer, as before. Please keep facility staff informed if you notice any anomaly.

AV301 UPDATE : 1H {13C} PROBE WITHOUT VT VARIATION
This old double resonance probe cannot do VT variation. The lineshape as it exists is usable for the routine runs but needs further optimization. REMINDER : NMR FACILITY DOWN DURING PLANNED POWER OUTAGE
There will be a planned power outage in Bagley Hall this Saturday, the 18th, which will affect the NMR facility instruments as well. The instruments will therefore be turned off by 4.00 pm, Friday the 17th and restored after the electrical maintenance is completed.

AV500 : UPDATE – DAMAGED HARDWARE
An issue has been identified with the RT shim stack and this makes the instrument unusable currently. Since repair of this part is not feasible in house, we have to wait for a replacement of the same. Users will be updated on that front when more information is available.
