AV700 USERS PLEASE NOTE : SYSTEM WILL MOVE TO SOLIDS COMING WEEK
The 700 system will host a CP-MAS solid state setup starting next Monday, 5 Feb ’18. It might be at least couple of weeks before the system is reverted to solutions NMR mode. UPDATE ! NMR SYSTEMS LIMPING BACK TO NORMAL
AV500 and DRX499 are up and running. We are still having issues with AV301 and AV300. Until they are resolved, the reservation calendar for these instruments will be locked. ALERT ! ALL NMR SYSTEMS WILL BE POWERED DOWN – Bagley Electrical Shutdown on Tuesday, the 23rd
Approximately by 4 pm today, we will shut down all the NMR systems in Bagley Hall, in preparation for the building wide Electrical Reboot that Eric Strakbein announced for tomorrow. ALERT ! DRX499- IMMINENT PROBE CHANGE – Wednesday next week

DRX499 : SYSTEM DOWN DUE TO HARDWARE FAILURE
Both the power amplifiers have damaged power supplies, which are being repaired in house. It is hoped that it will be a quick fix. The instrument will be released as soon as one of the amplifier is tested to be ok. NMR Facility Manager 12/15/17

UPDATE : AV300 – ATMA AND ATMM WORKING NORMAL – AS OF NOW…
The noise noted by users on WOBB curve while ATMA is fired up, seems to be an intermittent issue and it is not observed as of now. Also, the spectra themselves didn’t show any spurious noise spikes even when the spikes on WOBB curve was observed. We will keep watching for this behavior to return […]

UPDATE : AV300 AND AV301 – THINGS ARE BACK TO NORMAL
The ATMA errors as well as communication issues between the PC and console seemed to have stemmed from a possible power disruption, that was momentary. ALERT ! DRX499 – IMMINENT PROBE SWAP
The TXO – 19F,13C {1H} probe needs to be refurbished to its full potential and this is long overdue. We will therefore replace this probe with our backup BBO{1H}-Z gradient probe on Thursday, the 30th of November.
