Around 9:15a this morning: “mem 1 : Cannot allocate 262147 KB memory / memory resources tight. Please try again” upon trying to transform a 2d spectrum under previously functioning parameters. nbreen consulted and could not find anything in the logs as to why this was the case. Issue resolved upon restart.

9:30a: “Messages from last acquisition which had an ethernet communication problem // finished”. Allowed me to continue processing data and start up two new experiments. Processed data on 1D visible, no processed data displaying on acquiring 2D visible after applying two transforms, F2 processing but not F1 processing after three commands to transform the acquiring FID. Will kill acquisition and re-start to see if problem resolves.

Delayed/no communication with MAS despite lack of error messages. Computer intermittently able to read MAS speed and/or change target spin rate, but not reliable. Persists through multiple restarts.

BSMS Error: VT-Gas-Flow is missing – supply is probably out of order

  • mxue says:

BSMS: error: No Helium level measurement has been possible within the last 25 hours!

  • mxue says:

Probe gas, weak supply, gas flow is around 284 lph

  • mxue says:

TU state: Gas error, regulation state: off, gas flow is 196 lph, target gas flow is 400 lph

  • Jenny Stein says:

“Could not set Shim Currents – Power Supply ‘VPWR_1’ overloaded”
Tried again and it worked fine

Also, I couldn’t find the ceramic spinner for my J-Y tube so I am using the plastic spinner
