AV301 UPDATE : INSTRUMENT READY FOR USE (AGAIN…)
Users ! Please take a few moments to focus on sample insertion sequence, confirm that the sample is seated properly in the NMR magnet and then start zipping off with your experiments. Remember, one person’s haste can cost lot of lost instrument time for the entire user base. Thank you for your cooperation.

ALERT : AV301 DOWN DUE TO USER ERROR
A user has dropped a NMR sample tube without the spinner and lift air, into the magnet bore. As a result the spectrometer is not immediately useable. The issue will be resolved by Tuesday, April, 2nd and a follow up will be posted here.

AV800 – IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Users of 800 spectrometer are reminded that a flooding incident that occurred about a week ago damaged some of the sensitive electronic components, rendering the system unusable. AV500 : PROBE CHANGE ALERT
The TXO-1H{19F,13C} Z-gradient probe will be installed in AV500 system on Friday, the 29th of March ’13. After priming the probe, it will be available for regular use by Monday, the 31st of March ’13. Users are alerted to plan accordingly.

AV301 – QUICK UPDATE
Since the 19F probe will take more time to fix, the automated BBI probe is being primed to replace the ailing probe. AV301 : PROBE HEAD PROBLEM – SYSTEM DOWN
A possible breakage inside the probe makes the system unusable as of now. The matter is being looked into. An alternative solution will be provided as soon as feasible.

AV700 : PROBE CHANGE ALERT
The current 3.2 mm MAS solids probe will give way to the TXI-HCN triple resonance solutions probe soon. The solutions probe will be ready for use by Monday, 10th March. Users are requested make plans accordingly.
