UPDATE ! AV500 – BACK IN ACTION !
Pneumatic system is working properly now i.e. both the Sample Lift and Sample Spin functions are behaving as expected. But, from the looks of it, I won’t be surprised if the problem recurs again. ALERT ! AV301 NOT USABLE UNTIL TOMORROW…PLEASE READ
User has accidentally dropped a sample tube without the spinner turbine into the magnet. This means that the probehead has to be removed to remedy the situation, which will not happen until tomorrow morning. Until this is taken care of, the instrument is not usable. PLEASE NOTE ! NMR LAB DOOR CARD READER IS MALFUNCTIONING
I have left a wooden wedge to prop the door open as a temporary measure, since most of you may not have a physical key to open the door. Please leave the wedge as it is, until we fix the door problem. Thank you NMR Facility Manager 2/12/2020

ALERT ! AV301 : IMMINENT PROBE CHANGE
The automatic tuning/matching part seems to be malfunctioning for the X-channel on this probe. We are planning to pull the probe out tomorrow afternoon i.e. Friday the 7th and see if its a quick fix. If this is not the case, then be prepared to say hello to the old fashion Broadband probe, that needs […]
