ALERT ! ALL NMR SYSTEMS WILL BE POWERED DOWN – Bagley Electrical Shutdown on Tuesday, the 23rd

DRX499 : SYSTEM DOWN DUE TO HARDWARE FAILURE

Both the power amplifiers have damaged power supplies, which are being repaired in house. It is hoped that it will be a quick fix. The instrument will be released as soon as one of the amplifier is tested to be ok. NMR Facility Manager 12/15/17

UPDATE : AV300 – ATMA AND ATMM WORKING NORMAL – AS OF NOW…

The noise noted by users on WOBB curve while ATMA is fired up, seems to be an intermittent issue and it is not observed as of now.  Also, the spectra themselves didn’t show any spurious noise spikes even when the spikes on WOBB curve was observed. UPDATE : AV300 AND AV301 – THINGS ARE BACK TO NORMAL

The ATMA errors as well as communication issues between the PC and console seemed to have stemmed from a possible power disruption, that was momentary.   Both the systems working normally as I write this.  If you still notice any issues, please post a message or send an email.
