NMR FACILITY UPGRADES – POSTPONED!
The NMR Facility Upgrades planned to occur the week of April 28, 2014 (next week) have been postponed by one week to the week of May 5. These upgrades and changes affect the AV500, DRX499, and AV700. Please see Adrienne or Rajan with any questions or concerns. Thank you.

AV301 UPDATE : Alternative Automatic Tuning/Matching method
Some of the users complained that the ATMA takes unduly long time to finish. Part of the problem is the large default sweep width used in the user’s dataset, which makes the ATMA command to search long for a solution. AV301 : PROBE CHANGE UPDATE – ATMA PROBE IS IN
Users are requested to note that you do not need to start wobb command with this Automatic probe. Either type atma or click on the Auto-Wobb button. Please ask one of us if you have questions.

AV500 : UPDATE ! – TXO – 19F probe change advanced to Monday, the 31st April
The planned probe change of next week is advanced by one day to March 31st, Monday. After the routine calibrations, the probe head should be ready for use by noon of Tuesday, 1st April ’14. Users are requested to take note.

AV301 – PROBE CHANGE ALERT ! PABBI – 1H {X-BB} ATMA PROBE WILL COME IN ON 2 APRIL
The existing TXD -1H {19F, 13C} probe will be replaced by the Automatic Tuning/Matching (ATMA) on Wednesday the 2nd April 2014. After the ususal lineshape priming and calibrations, the probe will be released for regular use on Thurday, the 3rd April ’14, approximately by 10.00 am.

PROBE CHANGE ALERT ! : AV500 PROBE WILL CHANGE TO TXO – 19F {1H,13C} ON 1 APRIL
Please note that the BBO probehead will give way to the TXO – 19F {1H,13C} triple resonance probe on 1st April, 2014, Tuesday. After the usual lineshape priming and calibrations, the probe will be released for regular use the next day, 2nd Apr’ 14, approximately by noon. Users are requested to plan accordingly.
