The BBI Z-gradient probe is repaired and back. We will install this probe late on Friday, 13th Dec ’13 and the probe should be primed and ready by the noon of Monday, the 16th. Please contact facility staff with any questions.

The temporary double resonance probe will give way to the TXD-19F{1H,13C} probe and the instrument should be primed and ready for use on the morning of Wednesday, the 11th. Any change in this schedule will be posted here later.

A sporadic malfunction in one of the circuit boards is causing the Lock system to behave unreliably, irrespective of the solvent you use.  A firmware reset of the board restores functionality.  The troubleshoot will be a prolonged operation due to the sporadic nature of the problem.  As of now, the Lock system is functional and […]

Preliminary observations indicate a possible damage to the insert glass inside the probehead. If it’s confirmed, we will replace the broken part  ASAP but, further shimming of the probe will be necessary to bring the lineshape to usable spec.  Look for further updates in this space.

A low level liquid N2 sensor in the LN2 evaporator assembly is damaged.   We are trying to get this replacement part as soon as possible and bring the system’s low VT capability back on track.  Further updates will be posted when the status quo changes.

Sorry for the typo in my message earlier but the low VT system is down only in AV500 and not the DRX499. Please take note.
