REMINDER ! OBSERVING X-NUCLEI IN AV500 and DRX499
Please remember the following. You should make sure that the X-channel cable is connected to the correct nucleus port on the probe head, before you tune/match or observe NMR signal from that nucleus. For instance, on AV500 : If you want to observe 13C, make sure that the RF cable is connected to the 13C […]

UPDATE : AV300 : BBO MANUAL PROBE OPERATIONAL – this is a back up probe
While we are fixing the ATMA probe, we have provided a surrogate broadband probe in AV300 for routine runs. Please note that, the default shims provided may not be the best to just run spectra out of the box. You have to touch up the low order shims by hand to get decent spectra. We […]

UPDATE : AV300 : ALTERNATE PROBE IS BEING READIED
We are working with the manual BBO probe to make it optimal for regular use. In parallel, the ATMA probe repair will be expedited so that we can get back to automated operation with minimal disruption to that routine. Thank you for your understanding NMR Facility Manager 9/21/2017

UPDATE : AV301 : VT CONTROL UPTO 0 DEG C POSSIBLE NOW.
Some of you might have noticed that the sample temperature cannot be lowered below ambient on AV301. The heat exchanger a.k.a. chiller that makes this possible, is now serviced and working as expected. This gives you the choice to run lower than RT experiments upto 273 K max. This implies that you must set the […]
