AV500 : ALERT : LOW VT SYSTEM NOT AVAILABLE
The LN2 evaporator assembly cracked open and it is being repaired as we speak. Till that is ready, users won’t be able to do a low VT run which requires LN2 evaporation. We will post an update as soon as the system is operational in this regard.

UPDATE : AV300 – SAMPLE SPINNER RECOVERED FROM MAGENT
Users are strongly advised to pay attention to the way they position sample tubes in the spinner before injecting in the magnet. One person’s carelessness is going to cost NMR time to all the users. Thank you for your cooperation.

AV700 – UPDATE : LOGIN ISSUES
We are working on the login issues mentioned yesterday by users. In the meanwhile, a temporary solution is provided where users can login with a generic account and use the instrument. Please contact either of the facility staff for credentials to use this account.

AV700 – UPDATE : THE NEW BBO PROBE IS READY FOR USE.
Users can block time for this X – direct detect double resonance probe that includes Z-gradient capability. Please note that the 1H sensitivity will be quite lower compared to that of a BBI probe and one should plan the experiments accordingly. Please ask one of us if you have questions.

NOTE – NMR RESERVATION SYSTEM INTERRUPTION ON SUNDAY, Jan 4th
Our IT support has announced a maintenance schedule on Jan 4th from 7.00 am to noon that will affect the NMR reservation server. Users are encouraged to book their time before Sunday itself to circumvent this disruption.
